“Enquiring minds make for exquisitely crafted creative works. The portfolios of this year’s Adams & Adams Young Creative Winners shows curiosity manifest itself in uniquely conceptualised work on a par with the best in the world,” says Mariette du Plessis, partner at law firm Adams & Adams - the sponsor of the Adams & Adams Young Creatives Award for the second year in a row, as well as being the Loeries' official attorneys. The Adams & Adams Young Creatives Award recognises 'outstanding achievement' by individuals who work in the brand communications industry, between the ages of 18 and 27 and who are at the beginning of their careers.

“Each year the Loeries' Young Creatives Award draws in many, many entries! This year’s winners have come out tops and have managed to wow the judges deservedly! Taking a leap from the imagination to create viable business solutions, and leaving an indelible mark on South Africa’s creative landscape,” says du Plessis.

Tonight, South Africa celebrated the first of two nights of awards at the 34th Annual Loerie Awards in Cape Town. Amongst the awards given out tonight was the much coveted, Adams & Adams Young Creatives Award. Danie Strachan, partner of Adams & Adams and Xolisa Dyeshana, creative director at Joe Public handed out the award, and this hot on the announcement that Dyeshana is to be the new Chairman of The Loeries and Joe Public of course walking away with the Grand Prix!

Adams & Adams celebrates and supports this year’s winners, Jaco Burger, a designer at Die Ateljee and Jared Osmond a Copywriter at Network BBDO.

“Often in the all-consuming process of crafting an ingenious work, the financial or business aspect may be the furthest thing from a creative’s mind. And it should be intrinsic to the process – without sacrificing creative integrity. It should also help to build security, and stability, and ability to support inspired work. Adams & Adams has a team standing by to assist Burger and Osmond,” concludes du Plessis.
