The Acting Director-General of the Department of Water Affairs has extended the time period of the General Authorisation published in GNR 399 of 26 March 2004 relating to the water uses in terms of section 21(a) and (b) of the NWA (i.e. the taking and storage of water respectively) for a further period until it is withdrawn by notice in the Government Gazette.

Please take note that the header to the aforesaid notice states that the applicability of the abovementioned General Authorisation has been extended to 30 June 2012.
