The Medicines Control Council published conditions for the registration of a medicine in terms of the provisions of section 15(7) of the Act, which section pertains to validity of the registration of medicines for a period of five years subject to such conditions as may be determined by the Medicines Control Council. See Government Notice No. 761 in Government Gazette No. 34702 of 28 October 2011.
