Four candidates are under consideration by President Jacob Zuma for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court, following their interviews by the Judicial Service Commission on April 4.

The four candidates are Justice Narandandram Jody Kollapen, Justice Stevan Arnold Majiedt, Justice Leona Valerie Theron and Justice Malcolm John David Wallis.

Zuma has, in accordance with the Constitution, written to political leaders represented in the National Assembly informing them of his intention to appoint a judge.
