The DA today launched its first Cape Town election posters carrying the message “Take Cape Town Forward For All”, as we work to retain a stable majority government in November and build on the progress that has made Cape Town South Africa’s best-run major city.

Cape Town has shown what is possible when a government focuses on the basics, delivers services, invests in infrastructure and creates the conditions for more jobs and opportunity.

Cape Town is the City of Hope not only for the people who call it home, but for millions of South Africans who want proof that our country can work. Every new job, safer community, better road and reliable service here shows what can be achieved elsewhere too. South Africa can work – for everyone.

That is why this election matters so much. A strong, stable DA majority gives Cape Town the certainty to keep investing, keep improving services and keep taking this city forward for all its people.

To every registered voter in Cape Town, get out and vote on 4 November. Protect the progress we have made, and give us the mandate to take Cape Town forward for all. This election will shape the next chapter of Cape Town’s future, and every registered voter has a role to play in deciding what that future looks like.
