DA Gauteng Shadow MEC for Health Jack Bloom speaks with Polity about his concerns on the Gauteng Health Department's lack of effective leadership as Covid-19 cases are shooting up in a likely fifth wave as we approach the winter season.

There are already 1 272 Covid patients in both private and public hospitals in Gauteng, which has risen from below 1 000 patients less than three weeks ago.
