The title of his thesis is: “The South African National Electoral System – a critical analysis and alternative.” In his research he analysed twelve different electoral systems and developed an evaluation model to determine which electoral system is the most suitable for South Africa within the context of South Africa’s distinctive circumstances. It is at present a very topical issue in South Africa.
