The 2026 local government elections stand as one of the most decisive moments in the history of our democracy. Our people face a growing crisis of governance, service delivery failures, unemployment, corruption, collapsing infrastructure, and municipalities that have abandoned their constitutional obligations.
These elections are, therefore, a referendum on whether communities will continue to endure decay and neglect or rise to reclaim their municipalities and restore dignity to local government. For this reason, we approach these elections under the theme, Victory or Death!
