EFF: EFF welcomes  Commissars Hlonyane and Nolutshungu to Parliament

The Economic Freedom Fighters welcomes Commissars Ntokozo Hlonyane and Nontando Nolutshungu to Parliament as members of the National Assembly. Commissars Hlonyane and Nolutshungu were sworn in as a Members of Parliament’s National Assembly on Tuesday, the 23rd of January 2018.

They replace Commissars Sipho Mbatha and Mmabatho Mokause. Commissar Hlonyane is deployed to Portfolio Committee of Higher Education and Training and Economic Development.Commissar Nolutshungu is deployed to Portfolio Committee of Human Settlement, and Public Services, Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Commissar Hlonyana joined the EFF in 2013, served in Branch Command Team (BCT), former coordinator of sub-region and organizer of Gauteng Provincial Command Team (PCT). She has served as a coordinator of Alfred Nzo and the current serve as convener of Chris Hani Region. She holds a National Diploma in Sports Management from the Durban University of Technology and a Governance Certificate from the University of Pretoria. 

Commissar Nolutshungu has extensive experience in public transport management and operations. She joined the EFF in 2013 and has been exposed to all aspects of work, and has in the past been active in community projects and empowering grassroots women forums including stokvels in townships. Commissar Nolutshungu holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Transport Studies from the University of Cape Town.
