Minister of Communications, Ayanda Dlodlo, has noted a misleading report by News 24 regarding an undertaking to Parliament on the appointment of the SABC board.
The News 24 report actually misleads the public and creates an impression that the appointment of board members will be finalized within two days.
The Minister actually told Parliament that the SAQA verification of qualification process is underway which will be completed in two days. However, that does not mean the appointments will be finalized within two days.
