Wendy Philander has been sworn in as the Democratic Alliance (DA) Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in the Western Cape, replacing former MPP Lennit Max who resigned last month.
“I am excited about the opportunity to serve the DA at the Western Cape Provincial Parliament and I am eager to make a positive contribution to the continued growth of the party. I am also looking forward to holding the executive to account, ensuring that the service delivery and good governance that the DA is known for continues and is improved upon,” said Philander.
Philander will serve as a part of the Social Cluster on Standing Committees including Environmental Affairs and Developmental Planning, Transport and Public Works and Human Settlements.
