The Congress of South African Trade Union will be convening a Special Central Executive Committee [CEC] meeting on the 19th September 2016. The meeting will be used to deal with matters relating to developing a shared understanding on how COSATU should respond to the current political challenges.
It will also include preparations leading to the Alliance Political Council and the Summit, the Policy Conference and the bilateral meeting with the SACP. The SCEC meeting will be followed by a press briefing to communicate the outcomes of the meeting.
