The ANC is back in control of the Ekurhuleni municipality ready to continue with their agenda of maladministration, service delivery failure, and corruption.

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) and its coffers will once again be in the hands of the corrupt ANC.

The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the city brought an amendment to the motion of no confidence against the EFF puppet mayor, Ald Sivuyile Ngodwana, calling for the Dissolution of Council.

However, our amendment was not accepted, handing the city back to the corrupt ANC.

Given the ANC’s history of corruption and maladministration during its 21-year reign of governing the City of Ekurhuleni, we reiterate our call that only fresh elections can truly rescue Ekurhuleni from the hands of the corrupt.

Issued by Ald Tania Campbell – DA Leader in the City of Ekurhuleni
