EMADLANGENI ROYAL PALACE: The Hlubi Royal Family led by His Majesty King Langalibalele II will embark on the Annual Royal Visit to amaHlubi kingships in the Eastern Cape province. The Royal Visit is an annual pilgrim taken by the King and the Royal family in the interest of cementing unity among amaHlubi and also allow amaKhosi to discuss with their King of Kings pertinent matters regarding the state of Hlubi affairs. 

The Royal Visit was interrupted by the Covid 19 epidemic which neccesitated a suspension of this vital practice until such time as circumstances would allow for the practice to be continued. His Majesty King Langalibalele II now believes circumstances do allow and thus has decreed that the practice shall now be recommensed.

Remarking on this Royal Visit His Majesty stated

We are very much enthused that we will once again meet with amaHlubi who are now based in the Eastern Cape and discuss Hlubi Royal affairs. It has been a while that we met and thus this Royal visit is important to the Hlubi Royal Family and the Hlubi Nation as a whole ."

Amongst the royal affairs that will be discussed during the Royal Visit includes;

1) Unity of all Hlubi kingships and of the entire Hlubi nation,

2) The Hlubi Court Case wherein the Hlubi Royal Council seeks full restoration of the Hlubi Monarchy,

3) Annual Hlubi Royal Ceremonies that are to be held.

The Annual Royal visit of this year is vital as the Hlubi Royal Council will be approaching the courts with the intent of attaining full restoration of the Hlubi Monarchy that suffered incredibly under British colonial rule with King Langalibalele I being one of the first royal prisoners on Robben Island.

Venue : Matatiela Local Municipality
