ANC president Jacob Zuma admitted on Wednesday that the break-away Congress of the People poses challenges to his party, SABC radio news reported.
Speaking at a rally outside Tzaneen in Limpopo, Zuma said many
liberation movements in Africa had collapsed due to such challenges. However, he said, the ANC would prevail.
Zuma also denied there was a split within the ANC, saying that Cope was formed by angry people and therefore it would not succeed.
