The Young communist league of South Africa (uFasimba) has learned with great shock and dismay the attack on the innocent masses watching the World Cup in Uganda on Sunday. As the YCLSA we condemn those cowardly terrorist attacks.

We call upon the law enforcement agencies in Uganda to follow the law and ensure the perpetrators are arrested and bought to book. However we condemn any opportunistic imperialist intervention. While not down playing the problems encountered in Somalia, we do not believe the terrorist road taken by the so-called Al Shabab is a solution to the Somalian problems.

We believe it is time we resolve our problems through peaceful negotiations and dialogue, let us get rid of the negative image of the African continent as a conflict-ridden continent. Finally we wish to convey our message of condolences to the 74 victims affected by this terrorist attacks.
