The Young communist league of South Africa (UFasimba) condemns the unacceptable behaviour of teachers who are driven by their lust in schools. The rapid increase of students that have been impregnated by teachers and those that have been victims of sexual relations with teachers is blatant rape and depravity from the side of teachers. Parents entrust the lives and the future of their children with teachers on a daily basis.
The YCLSA urges the Department of education to persecute teachers that see students as a means to satisfy their perverse desires and ensure that they face the full wrath of the law. This behaviour is crippling the future of South Africa and sends a wrong message about education in our schools. Students cannot be subjected to such sexual violation in the very same place where they are supposed to be protected by the law. The YCLSA is in full support of the register of sexual offenders and more needs to be done to make such crucial information accessible to the public.
The YCLSA calls for the Department of Education to also encourage victims to come forward and name and shame these perverse vultures within our schools. Every child has the right to education and that will not be compromised by education practitioners that have no sense of respect for children and the law.
