The Young Communist League of South Africa (UFasimba) welcomes the release of comrade Mario Masuku with a great excitement. It demonstrates our belief that comrade Mario Masuku was a victim of a dictatorial Tinkundla system that serves to silence dissent.
We are calling upon PUDEMO, SWAYOCO, SSN and other progressive formations to utilize this opportunity to ensure the struggle for the overthrow of a backward feudal system is finally overthrown and Swaziland become democratized. We want to reaffirm our ongoing support to the poor and the working class in Swaziland, as led by Swayoco and Pudemo.
We wish to reiterate our call for repatriation of comrade Amos Mbedzi back to SA, in the coming weeks we will intensify our national council resolution calling for the investigation into the death of Dr Gabriel Mkhumane, we will also extend it to comrade Jack Govender.
We take this opportunity to salute SSN, COSATU, YCLSA, SACP and other progressive formations for sterling work they have done towards the release of comrade Mario Masuku.
