The WTO Annual Report 2012 provides a brief summary of the organization, an overview of 2011 and a detailed review of the WTO's main areas of activity: trade negotiations; implementation of WTO agreements and trade monitoring; dispute settlement; building trade capacity; and outreach. It also includes a personal message from the Director-General, who reflects on the events of 2011 and the challenges that lie ahead.
The Report features an account of the WTO Ministerial Conference in December 2011, an in-depth look at the countries whose membership to the WTO was approved in 2011, and the outcome of the Third Global Review of Aid for Trade. The Report also contains detailed information about the WTO Secretariat and the budget for 2011 and 2012.
