The World Bank Group invites the media to attend a briefing on Doing Business 2013: Smarter Regulations for Small and Medium Enterprises, a joint World Bank-IFC report that analyzes how regulations apply to an economy’s local businesses.
As economies around the world implement changes to make regulations for domestic firms more business friendly, the annual Doing Business report measures reforms aimed at making it easier to start and operate a business, strengthening transparency and property rights, and improving the efficiency of commercial dispute resolution and insolvency proceedings. The aggregate ease of doing business rankings are based on 10 indicators and cover 185 economies.
