United Nations (UN) Development Programme resident representative Dr Agostinho Zacarias said on Monday that some people injured in the UN bomb blasts in Nigeria would be receiving treatment in South Africa.
Two people are receiving treatment at the Milpark hospital, in Gauteng, with another six people expected to be flown into South Africa today.
He told Polity that 14 of the 60 people injured in the bomb blasts would be treated in South Africa.
A bomb blast rocked the UN's headquarters in the Nigerian capital of Abuja on Friday, killing 19 people.
