The United Democratic Movement (UDM) has learnt with shock of the tragic police helicopter crash in Mpumalanga. Reportedly seven members of the SAPS National Intervention Unit have lost their lives.
The loss of these lives is tragic, not only because their families, friends and colleagues will weep at their passing, but South Africans will now also not benefit from the contribution these specialists could have made to the lives of our people.
To the family, friends and colleagues of these police officer we express our condolences; our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of bereavement.
