A memorandum of agremeent was signed between the Tunisian Centre for the Promotion of Exports and its equivalent in Oman, the Centre for Investment and Export Development.
The agreement provides for building on already existent economic cooperation between the two countries through exchanges of goods and services and by promoting partnerships between Tunisian and Omani business people.
An information exchange agreement was signed, calling for the Tunis-Afrique-Presse (TAP) news agency and Oman's press, publishing and advertising agency to exchange information, photography and other news services.
The Omani delegation at the meeting that led to the two pacts was headed by Education Minister Yahia Ben Saoud al-Sellimi, while Tunis was represented by Foreign Minister Habib Ben Yahia. - Sapa-AFP
