Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a pleasure for me to be part of yet another milestone relating to Ga-Rankuwa Hospital today.
Many of you will recall that I was also invited in January 2000 to the launching of the Ga-Rankuwa Board. It was also at that time that the Department of Health Nationally had newly set up the strategic thrust for the health sector reforms for the period 1999 - 2004. This move was critical since it related to our health vision as a nation towards the future. It also formed the basis for more detailed Province specific strategic plans. These are long-term
