By virtue of the powers vested in him in terms of section 42 of the Trade Metrology Act, 1973, and after consultation with the Board establishment in terms of section 6 of the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications Act 2008 (Act 5 of 2008), Dr. Rob Davies, Minister of Trade and Industry hereby amends Part II of the Trade Metrology Regulations published by Government Notice No. R 2362 of 8 November 1977, as amended, as set out in the schedule hereto. The Amendments shall come into effect on the date two (2) months after publication on this notice.
