This application is brought on behalf of Mrs RM Barnard, a Captain in the South African Police Services. She claims that she was denies promotion on two occasions for the sole reason that she is white.

Order:
1.The Respondent is directed to promote the Applicant to the post of Superintendent with effect from 27 July 2006.
2.The Respondent is ordered to pay the Applicant's costs.
