I, Dr Bonginkosi Emmanuel Nzimande, MP, Minister of Higher Education and Training, in terms of Section 36 read with Section 10 of the Skills Development Act, 1998, (Act No. 97 of 1998) as amended and after consultation with the National Skills Authority and the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations, intend to repeal the Learnership Regulations published in Government Notice R 519 in Government Gazette No 30010 dated 29 June 2007 and hereby make the Learning Programme regulations in the Schedule for a 30 day public comment period from the date of this notice.
