The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) is allocating skills development training grants to the tune of approximately R374 -million to various entities ranging from employer associations, expert bodies, government departments, NGO’s, FET Colleges , public institutions and training providers.

Focus groups and marginalised groups such as women, young people, people with disabilities, rural-based people and military veterans are catered for as part of the CETA’s recognition of their general marginalisation.
This allocation follows a year long hiatus and moratoriums on project allocation that the Administrator had imposed while the organisation was cleaning up an environment which had become characterised by corruption and fraud against the organisation.
