The Political Lecture forms part of our build up activities leading to the Red October Campaign Opening Rally to be held this year in October in Gauteng Province.
Comrade Solly Mapaila, 2nd Deputy General Secretary delivered the Political Lecture, attended by over 300 delegates.
The focus of this Political Lecture was on Events of Russia March 1917 and their implications for the National Democratic Revolution (NDR) in our country.
The SACP in Gauteng will be holding monthly Political Lectures marking the celebration of the centenary of the Great October Socialist Revolution that took place in Russia in 1917.
We continue to draw lessons from the Russian experience and the Soviet Union to inform and guide our internal debates on the State and People's Power. This is even more critical as we approach the 14th National Congress in July this year in Gauteng Province.
