SA: Statement by the Sigcau Royal Family, on the passing of amaMpondo King Justice Mpondombini Sigcau (26/03/2013)

Kumkani Justice Mpondombini Sigcau, who has served amaMpondo since his installation in December 1978, passed away on Monday 25 March 2013, at Nelson Mandela Teaching Hospital, Umthatha.  He was aged 71.
His Majesty was admitted to the hospital after suffering a stroke recently.


He is survived by his wife, Queen Lombekiso Masobhuza Sigcau and two adult daughters, Princess Wezizwe and Princess Bekiwe and a grandson Prince Juba Zulu born in 2002.   
Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
