  • Talks commenced this morning and the RFEA remains committed to finding an amicable solution to the dispute that will ultimately settle these negotiations.
  • However, due to escalation of violence and intimidation, affecting the country as a whole, the RFEA deemed it appropriate to approach the Labour Court on an urgent basis for appropriate relief to address the violence experienced since the onset of the strike.
  • The matter has been set down for this afternoon.
  • We will communicate the outcome as soon as received.
