The clock is ticking fast for the submission of manual Employment Equity (EE) Reports with just under 28 days left for employers to meet the deadline, a meeting heard in Welkom, Free State today (Tuesday).
Pertunia Sele, Department of Labour’s Employment Equity Directorate, told stakeholders from business, trade unions and government during the EE roadshow that employers-both large and small- have until October 2 to submit their reports.
She said the reporting period opened on September 1 for both manual and online submissions.
The road-show continues in Bloemfontein and Durban tomorrow (Wednesday) before winding up in Rustenburg and Witbank on Tuesday next week.
