Following the request of the Director-General to go on leave for a few weeks, the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr. Blade Nzimande, has appointed his Special Advisor, Mr. Gwebinkundla Qonde, as the acting DG for the department, until further notice.
The Minister wishes Mr. Qonde all the best with his new responsibilities, and urges all colleagues, within and outside the department, to offer him their full support".
