The Joint Committee on Ethics and Members’ Interests today appointed a nine-member panel that will hold a hearing on the matter concerning the Communications Minister, Ms Dina Pule.
According to the Committee’s Co-Chairperson Mr Lemias Mashile, the Committee took a decision on 20 February 2013 that, in terms of paragraph 3.1 of the procedure for the investigation of complaints, a hearing must be held to deal with complaints against Minister Pule. The hearing will be held in the week starting from 22 - 26 April.
The multi-party panel comprises: Prof. Ben Turok (Chairperson), Mr Andrew Mlangeni, Mr Bhekizizwe Radebe, Ms Modjadji Mangena, Ms Diane Kohler Barnard, Mr Jacobus van der Merwe, Mr Thabo Makunyane, Ms Zukiswa Rantho and Mr Swaphi Plaatjie.
