The City of Tshwane would like to advise its customers that there is a city-wide delay in the posting of municipal accounts. As a result, customers will be receiving their October 2012 statements late and in some cases after their usual due date.
This is attributable to the ongoing Satawu strike and industrial action by temporary postal workers at the Tshwane Mail Centre.
Municipal account holders are reminded that it is still incumbent upon residents to pay their account even if no statement has been received.
Customers are encouraged to continue to pay their municipal accounts as per their normal monthly consumption.
The City of Tshwane would like to apologise to all its customers who have been adversely affected by these delays.
Customers can obtain their duplicate statements at the various City of Tshwane customer care centres.
