Minister for Cooperative Governance, Mr Masenyani Richard Baloyi is pleased to announce the appointment on transfer of Mr Vusimuzi Madonsela as a director-general for Cooperative Governance with effect from Monday, 01 October 2012.

Mr Madonsela is the former director-general of the Department of Social Development and has occupied the position of director-general for the past nine years. He is amongst the longest serving directors-general in the public service currently.
“The director general brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise which will surely benefit the Department of Cooperative Governance in navigating through its mandate across the three spheres,” said Minister Baloyi.
