President Jacob Zuma has extended his good wishes to the national women's soccer squad, Banyana Banyana, ahead of their final Confederation of African Football (CAF) African Women's Championships in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea tomorrow.
Banyana reached the finals after beating Nigeria, Africa's first ranked team, becoming the first African team to beat Nigeria since 1993.
"The whole nation is behind you. We are already brimming with pride for going this far in the tournament. You are just one step ahead of lifting the trophy and uplifting the whole nation. We wish you all the best," said President Zuma.
