President Jacob Zuma has learnt with regret of the sad passing of the Queen Mother of amaXhosa, Queen Nondwe Sigcawu, who passed away at the Nqandu Royal Palace in the Eastern Cape last night.
"We are all shocked by the sudden death of Her Majesty. We send our sincerest condolences, on behalf of government and the entire South African nation, to the Xhosa Royal Family nesizwe samaXhosa sonke! May her soul rest in peace," said President Zuma.
