This summer, Ferodo (a Federal-Mogul brand) is taking safety a step further and protecting the lives of children – both inside cars and out.

For every set of brake pads or brake discs replaced by safety-conscious drivers, they will donate R2 or R5 respectively to Childline, helping to create a safer space for South Africa’s children.

“Road accidents increase over the summer holiday period, and making sure your car is roadworthy is part of the personal responsibility you can take to reduce your risk of accidents,” says Tim Langdon, Director Global Aftermarket, Federal-Mogul South Africa.

“To encourage motorists to do the necessary car safety checks before they set off on their holiday journeys, we will be making a contribution to Childline in order to support their crucial role in ensuring the safety of our children.”

“Ensuring that your car is roadworthy protects your family, and is the responsible thing to do. By fitting Ferodo products this summer and thereby supporting Childline, you go the extra mile for all of South Africa’s children,” says Langdon.
