The Minister of Public Enterprises today received a letter of resignation from Mr Bobby Godsell, who resigned as Chairperson of the Board of Eskom today, with immediate effect.
The Minister would like to thank Mr Godsell for his leadership and commitment to Eskom over the past 15 months and would like to wish him well in the future. Mr Mpho Makwana, with the full support of the remaining members of the board, has been appointed as acting Chairperson, until a permanent Chairperson can be appointed.
