Acting President Kgalema Motlanthe has on Tuesday 20 September 2011, in terms of the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998 (Act No. 32 of 1998), and after consulting with the Minister for Justice and Constitutional Development and the National Director of Public Prosecutions, appointed the following persons as Directors of Public Prosecutions:
• Adv Sowabo Barry Madolo – Eastern Cape High Court, Mthatha;
• Adv Xolisile Jennifer Khanyile – Free State High Court, Bloemfontein; and
• Adv Khehla Masenyani Andrew Chauke – South Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg.
All the three appointments are with effect from 01 September 2011.
