The Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Ms Susan Shabangu, will act as President of the Republic during the absence of both President Jacob Zuma and Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa.
President Jacob Zuma has travelled to New Delhi in India, where he is leading a South African delegation to the Third India Africa Forum Summit.
Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is also on a three nation tour of Sweden, Cuba and Mexico.
Minister Shabangu was sworn in by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng at the Constitutional Court today.
