The Road Accident Fund (RAF) has taken note of the Democratic Alliance’s allegations regarding large scale fraudulent activities at the RAF and its decision to lay a formal charge against the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Eugene Watson, on behalf of road accident victims.
The RAF would like to place on record that we will not comment further on this matter until such time we have had sight of the charge sheet and any accompanying documentation relating to the allegations.
We will respond in detail in due course.
