The Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs ("the Minister") has given notice of her intention to amend the Water Management Areas published under Government Notice No. 1160 on 1 October 1999 to include the following Water Management Areas:

1. Limpopo;
2. Olifants;
3. Inkomati-Usuthu;
4. Pongola-Mtamvuna;
5. Vaal;
6. Orange;
7. Mzimvubu;
8. Breede-Gourits; and
9. Berg-Olifants.

The public is given 90 days from the date of publication of this notice in which to submit their written comments on the proposed amendment.
