Minister Motshekga to address SADTU national conference

The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga will tomorrow address delegates at the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) National Conference in Gauteng.

The Minister is expected to highlight key priorities for the sector during this current administration as teachers are one of the most important stakeholders in education.

The SADTU conference comes as we prepare to celebrate world teachers day on the 5th of October and it is hoped this conference of teachers will go a long way in contributing meaningfully to the improving quality and efficiency of the education system as we work together to take South Africa forward.

Media accreditation must be attained from SADTU.
