Minister Malusi Gigaba visits eHomeAffairs site

The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, will visit the Standard Bank eHomeAffairs site at the Canal Walk Mall in Cape Town.

The visit follows the launch of the groundbreaking initiative by President Jacob Zuma on 07 April 2016. The Department of Home Affairs has collaborated with four major banks to introduce an online application platform for Smart ID cards and passports.

In this regard, ABSA, FNB, Nedbank and Standard Bank have provided space for Home Affairs kiosks inside banks where clients will walk in to submit their fingerprints and pictures having made appointments and payments online.
