The Minister of Mineral Resources hereby invites representations from relevant stakeholders on the proposed imposition of a restriction under section 49(1) of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act 28 of 2002), on the granting of new reconnaissance permissions, prospecting right, mining right or mining permit lapses in terms of section 56 of the Act.
