Nelspruit – Mpumalanga Economic Development, Environment and Tourism MEC, Mr Norman Mokoena says he will not fold his arms until he is happy that children have a conducive learning environment. “Learners will not be able to concentrate to their studies if they are hungry” he said. I will therefore dedicate 67 minutes of my time and donate this mobile kitchen for the feeding scheme of Nyalunga primary school so that food can be properly prepared for these learners” said MEC Mokoena.

MEC Mokoena said he sincerely appreciate all stakeholders who responded to the call of lending a hand to these learners.

Mandela Day is a global initiative to honour and celebrate former South African President Nelson Mandela and his legacy. On this day, people are urged to dedicate 67 minutes of their time to lend a hand to those less fortunate.
