MEC Mahlangu is exploring the feasibility of installing gas fuelled Tri-generation power plant at Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital. The site visits will therefore allow the MEC to see the natural gas fuelled Tri-generation plants in operation.

The proposed power generation plant at Chris Hani Baragwanathate hospital will help the institution overcome challenges associated with coal fuelled and often unreliable boilers, as well as disruptions from grid outages. It will also have the potential to feed any excess power generated onto the national grid.

Vanue: MTN Group Limited, Innovation Centre, 216 14th Avenue, Fairlands, Roodepoort.
