That's possible, provided the Proteas win the Cricket World Cup.
That was how President Thabo Mbeki welcomed the Proteas or the Warriors, as they are affectionately known, at Tuynhuys in Cape Town last night.
The tournament commences tomorrow with an opening ceremony, which organisers have promised will be a spectacular display of African magic.
An upbeat and relaxed President Mbeki jokingly told the South African squad that they could feature prominently in a possible Cabinet reshuffle should they scoop the prestigious Cup.
Joining President Mbeki in wishing the Proteas well in the games was Minister in the Presidency Essop Pahad and his counterparts from sport and recreation Ngconde Balfour, finance Trevor Manuel, health Manto Tshabalala-Msimang and outgoing housing minister Sankie Mthembi-Mahanyele.
The President appealed to the media to be supportive of Proteas calling on the former not to attack the players when they fell short of scoring runs.
In return Pollock gave Mbeki a number seven Proteas jersey written Mbeki on the back.
Minister Balfour echoed Mr Mbeki's sentiments and urged the team to encourage each other. - BuaNews
